These are the series/trilogies that I really recommend trying if you haven’t already! I’m going to start from my most favourites and talk briefly about each one so lets get started!
The Hunger Games
The first trilogy that I really recommend reading is the Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins. Now I know that most of you have read it but those of you that haven’t, get to it! I was on elf the people that kept running away from reading this trilogy because of all the hype that surrounded it but I am so glad that I did! And as you can see it is now one of my favourite trilogies EVER!
Even though I haven’t completed the whole series yet (which I will pretty soon) I am definite that Vampire Academy is one of my favourite vampire series. What kept pushing me away from the series was that there were 6 books. But as I picked up the first book, I knew I just had to read more! The series just gets better and better as you go on. I am sure that I need to read Richelle Mead’s Bloodline series soon. So I highly recommend this series to all of you out there 🙂
The third trilogy is Divergent by Veronica Roth. I really enjoyed reading this trilogy and I think anyone who hasn’t read it yet, really needs to! But I will say that I kept getting more and more annoyed as I got to the third book and the third book ind of disappointed me. The whole two point of views did not work for me. Both Tris and Four were really annoying. I know I sound like I hated the trilogy but I think over all the whole idea of the books were interesting and between them, Divergent is definitely my favourite. So if you have not read it yet, it’s time.
The fourth trilogy that I highly recommend is The Selection by Kiera Cass. I absolutely LOVED this trilogy from the start till the end. It is such a fun and fast-paced read and I really enjoyed it! I think the whole idea of it was unique and the last book was a great conclusion to the whole series. I would have liked to read more of The Selection, I think it would’ve been even more amazing if we got to explore the world that Kiera Cass had created because I found it really clever and interesting. It is a girly book but not cheesy or at least it wasn’t for me, so do give it a try!
And my last recommendation is the Delirium trilogy by Lauren Oliver. I couldn’t makeup my mind about this one because I was stuck between Delirium and Matched trilogy. Both had some negative aspects to them but I think Delirium trilogy was my favourite. The story was unique because nowadays in the YA genre we always have love triangles and it really caught my attention when I saw that love was seen as a ‘disease’ in this book. I really enjoyed each book even though the ending to it was a bit disappointing. But I really recommend reading it!
So that is it for my top 5 series/trilogies. Hope you give them a try and please don’t forget to share your thoughts!
